CM Punk has not been seen on AEW television since the AEW All Out post-show media scrum, where he infamously ranted about the company’s executive vice presidents and Adam Page.
Punk has not returned to AEW, and his future in the company has been in doubt ever since that day in Chicago.
Recently, AEW star Dax Harwood pleaded for CM Punk and the Elite to work things out, as there was a lot of money being left on the table.
In a rather vague response, Punk responded to an Instagram post quoting Dax, simply saying:
Duh
Now, Punk has fired shots at MJF, reacting to the champ’s Instagram photo of him holding two plaques from Pro Wrestling Illustrated.
MJF won the award for ‘Most Hated Wrestler’, as well as ‘Rivalry of the Year’ for his incredible rivalry with CM Punk.
However, MJF would have you believe he was feuding with himself, as he taped over CM Punk’s name on the plaque, replacing it with his own name.
Punk saw the photo and simply commented:
Maybe find some tape for the ratings so nobody sees those either.
