It seems as if CM Punk has taken a subtle shot at AEW again.
On September 2, Tony Khan announced that AEW had terminated CM Punk’s contract “with cause” after a backstage incident at AEW All In London.
Despite making appearances since then, Punk has been relatively quiet in regards to making references to his former employer. However, it seems as if this has changed after a recent social media post.
Taking to his Instagram story, CM Punk posted the following quote:
“Sometimes your value isn’t seen until your absence is felt.”
This could be in reference to any number of things, but many fans have questioned All Elite Wrestling since Punk’s departure from the promotion two months ago.
A new report has revealed that WWE stars were prepared for CM Punk return questions at WWE Fastlane, which you can read here.
