Cody Rhodes has made a reference to CM Punk’s past ahead of their upcoming face to face encounter on WWE Raw.
With the Royal Rumble set to take place this Saturday, two of the favourites for the match, Cody Rhodes and CM Punk, are set to go face to face on tonight’s go home episode of Raw.
Ahead of the show, Cody has made reference to Punk’s past in the company.
Taking to Instagram, Cody shared his weekly video of him signing his weight belts in New Orleans ahead of the show, this time though, the video was accompanied by rather specific song.
Cody used the song This Fire Burns by Killswitch Engage, which Punk famously used as his initial theme song in WWE, before changing to Cult of Personality in 2011.
Cody was revealed as the cover star for WWE 2K24 today, with Bianca Belair and Rhea Ripley featuring on the cover of the game’s deluxe edition.
Tonight’s show will also feature an update on World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins following his torn MCL injury.
