Colt Cabana Reacts To Intriguing Tweet About Wrestling Press Conferences AEW

Colt Cabana has liked tweets seemingly in reaction to CM Punk’s comments during the AEW All Out media scrum.

CM Punk went on a verbal tirade during the press conference, voicing his frustrations about several notable names, including Hangman Page, the AEW EVPs and ‘Scott Colton’ Colt Cabana.

Punk spoke about legal proceedings between himself and Cabana and shut down rumors that he’s responsible for Cabana’s move to ROH.

Cabana hasn’t directly commented on Punk’s rant, but he has reacted to some interesting social media posts.

The ROH star liked a tweet from John Lister, notably posted before All Out, arguing that reporters at pro-wrestling press conferences are part of the performance. Lister had tweeted:

“An event where pro wrestlers answer questions ‘in character’ is not a press conference. It is a performance portraying a press conference.

“If you ask questions at such an event, you are not a reporter. You are a performer taking part in the portrayal.”

Cabana also liked a post from Kevin Owens, featuring a photo of Owens in the main event of WrestleMania 38. This post appears to be throwing shade at Punk following his comments, as while with WWE, Punk had a goal to headline a WrestleMania, however this ultimately didn’t happen.

Following Punk’s media scrum appearance, a physical altercation reportedly broke out, and some EVPs reportedly threatening to leave the company.

Punk is currently the AEW World Champion, winning the title from Jon Moxley at All Out.
