Former WWE Star Returns As Producer At Survivor Series WarGames WWE

A former WWE star has returned to work as a producer at last night’s Survivor Series WarGames event.

Former WWE Tag Team Champion Brian Kendrick worked as a backstage producer from 2020 to 2022 before being granted his release in February.

Kendrick worked primarily for NXT and 205 Live until he requested his release.

Per Fightful Select, Brian Kendrick was listed internally as a producer for the Women’s WarGames match and Ronda Rousey vs. Shotzi.

The former Cruiserweight Champion worked closely with the WWE’s female performers. He even helped train Ronda Rousey prior to her debut with the company.

Following his departure from WWE earlier this year, the former WWE star was then scheduled to face Jon Moxley on the February 2 edition of AEW Dynamite.

However, the match was pulled after comments Kendrick made in a video in 2011 resurfaced.

In the video, the former WWE Tag Team Champion makes several bizarre claims about Jewish first responders to the 2010 Haiti Earthquake. In response to the comments, Kendrick took to social media and said:

“I apologize for all the hurt and embarrassment [sic]I have caused with my words. These are not my beliefs and never were beliefs of mine, and I crossed the line.”

“I spread the most vile comments without thinking of the damage it would cause. I will live with this regret for the rest of my life. I am truly sorry for the pain I have caused.”

Kendrick has since worked independent dates and has been running seminars since his WWE departure.
