Former WWE Tag Team Make Surprise Appearance On Independent Event WWE

A former WWE tag team has made a surprise appearance on an independent event.

On September 21, WWE announced a series of talent cuts following the TKO merger, which included Mace and Mansoor of Maximum Male Models.

The duo had been kept off television for the last few months of their run despite receiving praise for their work on screen.

On December 10, Mace and Mansoor made a special surprise appearance at the DPW 2nd Anniversary show.

This was a shocking surprise since the duo were only on day 81 of their 90-day non compete clause.

Both men took to social media to promote the appearance afterwards. Mace, real name Mason D. Madden, noted that “81 was enough” when posting the video.

The former Maximum Male Models are the second former WWE tag team to appear on DPW in recent months as former WWE NXT UK Tag Team Champions James Drake and Zack Gibson of the Grizzled Young Veterans previously debuted for the promotion.

WrestleTalk will provide further updates on Mace and Mansoor’s status when they become available.
