Sasha Banks and Naomi have been the topic of conversation all week, after they walked out of last week’s (May 16) WWE Raw tapings.
WWE released a statement on the pair, in which they said that they walked out at the start of the show, leaving the Women’s Tag Team Championship titles on the desk of John Laurinaitis.
However, a friend of Naomi’s has a different side of the story, with him claiming that Sasha and Naomi had left hours before Raw started, and before the match sheet had even been printed.
He said:
They were gone before the match sheet was printed, that’s around 5 p.m. But, let me hush.
Dave Meltzer referenced in Friday’s edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that the user in question is a legitimate friend of Naomi’s, and Naomi herself does follow him on Twitter, so it seems to be legitimate.
WWE announced a suspension live on last week’s SmackDown show, and also announced that they had been stripped of the Women’s Tag Team Championship.
Pat McAfee’s reaction to the announcement quickly went viral on social media, and he has now described his reaction to the moment on the Pat McAfee Show.
They were gone before the match sheet was printed, that's around 5 p.m.
But, let me hush. https://t.co/zLf4lBNY5w
