Jay White Defeats Kazuchika Okada To Win The IWGP World Heavyweight Championship At NJPW Dominion

A new IWGP World Heavyweight Champion is crowned at NJPW’s Dominion event from Osaka-Jo Hall.

In the main event of Dominion, “Switchblade” Jay White defeated Kazuchika Okada with the Blade Runner to win the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship.

This marks the second time that White has held the top prize in New Japan Pro Wrestling and his first time with the IWGP World Heavyweight Title.

It is also the second new champion from the Bullet Club stable with Karl Anderson defeating Tama Tonga to win the NEVER Openweight Title earlier in the night.

In total, there were four new champions crowned on the Dominion event.

Jay White will now defend the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship against either Hangman Adam Page, Adam Cole or both at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door on June 26.
