16-time WWE World Champion John Cena has spoken of his gratitude ahead of an upcoming opportunity that he says “means the world” to him.
While most would assume that Cena has very little left to check off of his WWE bucket list, his upcoming appearance at WWE’s Superstar Spectacle event in Hyderabad, India (September 8) will be his very first in the country.
Taking to Twitter to convey what the event means to him Cena said:
I cannot express how grateful I am to the @WWE & #WWEUniverse for this opportunity.
#WWESuperstarSpectacle will be an experience that means the world to me, excited to get to @WWEIndia!
Cena’s match at Superstar Spectacle has been confirmed to be a tag team contest seeing him paired with current World Heavyweight Champion Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins to take on Imperium’s Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci.
After only appearing sporadically in recent years, Cena is advertised for his longest consistent run in WWE since 2018.
Having already appeared on both the September 1 SmackDown and Payback on September 2 and the upcoming Superstar Spectacle, Cena is also being advertised to on seven straight episodes of SmackDown through September and October as well as potentially Fastlane on October 7.
