A 10-woman tag featuring Knockouts from the past and present has been added to IMPACT 1000.
On Saturday, September 9, IMPACT Wrestling will hold the television tapings for the 1000th episode of their weekly broadcast.
As previously reported, IMPACT Hall of Famers Gail Kim and Awesome Kong announced that they will both be making their in-ring returns for the show.
Kim indicated that she will unite with her long time rival Kong and made the call to Knockouts from the past or present to stand by their side in battle or face them at the historic show.
On Thursday’s IMPACT Press Pass, the company announced that Kim and Kong would team with a mystery partner, the returning Jordynne Grace and IMPACT Knockouts World Champion Trinity on the show.
Meanwhile, this group of champions will face the team of Deonna Purrazzo, Gisele Shaw, Savannah Evans, former Knockouts World Champion Angelina Love of The Beautiful People and a mystery partner at IMPACT 1000.
Trinity defeated Deonna Purrazzo to retain the Knockouts World Championship at the recent Emergence event.
The event will also feature Alex Shelley defending the IMPACT World Title against Trey Miguel, Team 3D will reunite and the returns of the Ultimate X and Feast Or FIRED stipulations.
