Following the news breaking on Good Morning Britain earlier today, WWE has officially confirmed the opening of its long-expected brand new UK Performance Centre facility in Enfield.
In conjunction with tomorrow’s historic upcoming NXT UK TakeOver Blackpool event, WWE held a press conference at the new facility to formally announce the news to an assembled media throng.
With the NXT UK roster and the press looking on, Triple H ushered in the new facility inside one of its two rings, noting the success of the PC in Florida and how it has played a role in producing the majority of today’s Raw and SmackDown talent.
He promised that the UK PC will have everything the US one does, including medical and rehab facilities and strength and conditioning coaches. In addition, he called the new centre a “24/7 sound stage for content creation”, perhaps hinting at future Network specials being filmed there focusing on NXT UK talent akin to Breaking Ground.

Triple H also confirmed the future creation of similar facilities around the world, saying: “This is the first of what will be many Performance Centre’s outside of the US” and later adding “Its about going the world over and finding the greatest performers and the greatest athletes in any market we can”.
Details on the frequency talent will be expected to clock in at the facility are still somewhat unclear, with Hunter stating “They will be honing their skills here on a regular basis to improve the product”. Whether that means the UK PC will be a daily requirement for NXT UK stars and potential new signings from the UK remains to be seen.
Following Triple H’s speech, Charlotte Flair, Finn Balor and Pete Dunne all gave brief promos. The message was largely the same: take advantage of this huge opportunity and use it to fulfil your full potential.

WWE also released this official press released about the facility:
“WWE (NYSE: WWE) today announced the opening of the UK Performance Center, the first world-class WWE training facility outside of the United States and a significant step in WWE’s efforts to localize content around the world.
With 17,000 square feet, two training rings,world-class strength and conditioning equipment and versatile content creation infrastructure, the UK Performance Centre will enable WWE to train athletes through a comprehensive program including in-ring training, physical preparedness and character development.
“This is the latest milestone in our global localization strategy and the next step in establishing local NXT brands around the world,” said Paul“Triple H®” Levesque, Executive Vice President, Talent, Live Events & Creative.
“We are incredibly proud to open the UK Performance Centre and provide our NXT UK Superstars the same world-class coaching and development programs that we deliver at WWE’s Performance Centre in Orlando, Florida.”
