The story of Women’s Tag Team Champions Sasha Banks and Naomi walking out of this week’s (May 16) episode of WWE Raw has dominated the news this week.
WWE officially announced that the pair had been ‘indefinitely suspended’ on Friday’s SmackDown show, with the Women’s Tag Team Championship being vacated in the process.
WWE later pulled all of Sasha and Naomi’s merchandise from WWEShop.com, as well as removing the duo’s official Facebook pages and removing them from the ‘Then, Now, Forever’ show intro.
Naomi herself has seemed to follow suit, as she removed references to WWE from her Twitter bio last night.
Pat McAfee found himself trending last night, as his reaction to the announcement of Sasha and Naomi’s suspension went viral on social media.
