WWE star Big E has continued his pitch for a WrestleMania match idea, but this time has added a twist: potential corporate sponsorship deals.
Earlier today some of WWE’s biggest (literally) stars took part in a very interesting activity as Big E hosted a livestream of an eating contest from Philadelphia!
Featuring Akira Tozawa, Otis and Omos with Big E as the host, there was humor and hijinks throughout but one very intriguing detail on an existing pitch came from the conversations.
Big E said of his previously pitched “Meaty Men Invitational” for WrestleMania:
“Many have lobbied for it. Big Bronson Reed lobbied for it. Ivar as well. I’d love to see it.
“I would love to see it, maybe host it. Maybe sponsored by Arby’s or Slim Jim.
“I’d love to see it. Maybe next year.”
You can see more from the eating contest in the video below.
Elsewhere in Big E news, he is set to join CM Punk on the pre-shows ahead of WrestleMania 40.
With teams announced for the pre-shows on both Night One and Night Two of WrestleMania 40 in Philadelphia, both Big E and CM Punk were featured.
Also, Big E’s New Day brethren Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods have a shot at another WWE Tag Team title reign.
The six-pack ladder match at WrestleMania 40 has been confirmed to have all four tag belts hanging above the ring, seemingly splitting the ‘Undisputed’ titles back into their respective brand specific championships.
The six-pack ladder match features New Day taking on Awesome Truth (R-Truth and The Miz), A-Town Down Under (Austin Theory and Grayson Waller), DIY (Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa), New Catch Republic (Tyler Bate and Pete Dunne), and current champs the Judgment Day (Finn Balor and Damian Priest).
