WWE announced on tonight’s (February 18) episode of SmackDown that former WWE Champion Big E will serve as the pace car driver for the Daytona 500.
WWE posted the following statement on their website:
AWWWWWWWW DAYTONA! DON’T YOU DARE BE SOUR! DRIVE FOR YOUR WORLD FAMOUS FORMER WWE CHAMP, AND REV WITH POWER!
On behalf of NASCAR and FOX, it was announced on SmackDown that Big E has a need for speed! The Powerhouse of Positivity will take the wheel as the pace car driver for this Sunday’s Daytona 500.
Don’t miss the start of the NASCAR Cup Series season with the 2022 Daytona 500, this Sunday, Feb. 20 beginning at 2:30 p.m. ET / 11:30 a.m. PT on FOX.
