PWG’s annual Battle Of Los Angeles tournament is typically one of the best weekends of wrestling anywhere in the world. This year’s event, held over three days on September 14, 15 and 16 from the Globe Theater in Los Angeles, is starting to take shape.
The promotion has announced the first 10 participants (of an expected 24), and there are some fascinating names among them:
- Brody King
- Jody Fleisch
- Ilja Dragunov
- Robbie Eagles
- Joey Janela
- Puma King
- David Starr
- Rey Horus
- Chris Brookes
PCO is the former Jean-Pierre Lafitte / Quebecer Pierre, who re-entered the indy wrestling consciousness with a superb performance against WALTER over WrestleMania weekend.
Chris Brookes is a regular on the UK scene for PROGRESS, RevPro, Defiant, ATTACK and several others. He recently made waves by turning down a WWE UK contract in favor of remaining on the indy circuit.
