A recently released WWE star has revealed that they have no plans to wrestle in 2024 following their recent free agency.
The most recent set of WWE releases took place back on September 21, when many names from both the main roster and NXT were released from their contracts.
The names released back in September are now free agents, with their non-compete clauses having expired, and the names being spread throughout the world of wrestling.
One release name yet to be announced for a return to the ring is Rick Boogs (Eric Bugenhagen), and it sounds like we may have to wait a long while to see him back in the ring.
Speaking to Chris Van Vliet, Boogs was asked if he planned on wrestling in 2024 following his free agency, to which he said:
“Not for now, no. I mean, we’ll see what happens. I’ll never say never, but I’m busier now than I was in WWE.”
Another recently released WWE name was Dolph Ziggler, who made his New Japan Pro Wrestling debut at today’s Wrestle Kingdom 18 show.
