AEW Star Absolutely Trashes Fan’s Critique Of His Match

An AEW star has responded to a Tweet for an AEW fan’s description of the “dumb finish” to a match at ROH Final Battle.

AEWDUB on Twitter posted a video of Claudio Castagnoli hitting his swing finish to which Chris Jericho would tap out.

This move was criticized by AEWDUB who pointed out it was a:

“Dumb finish, why would you tap to that?

“Wanna be creative but it’s a no from me.”

Chris Jericho would take time to respond to the criticism of the move, which cost him the ROH World Championship, saying:

“Hey f**k face.

“Ever experienced this move?

“It’s barbaric.

“I tapped out..you would’ve s**t your pants and cried for mommy.”

Jericho has also taken to Instagram to demand the move be banned, stating:

“The (Claudio Castagnoli) Swing is inhumane and barbaric and should be BANNED!

“I defy ANY ONE OF YOU to not do what I did and tap out in the face of permanent brain damage!”

ROH Final Battle’s main event saw Chris Jericho face Claudio Castagnoli with the stipulation that Castagnoli would have to join the Jericho Appreciation Society if he lost the match.

Jericho’s tenure as ROH World Champion had seen him face off against a number of previous ROH champions.

Castagnoli’s win, via submission, brought to an end the eighty-day reign of The Ocho.
