Samoa Joe Discusses Potential Match With Top Star At AEW All In AEW

With AEW All In just over a month away, the card for the show will begin to take shape in the coming weeks.

One name who is hoping to be a part of the show is Samoa Joe, who currently reigns as the ROH Television Champion.

With the event taking place at Wembley Stadium, fans have been speculating about several top stars making appearances on the show, including NJPW Television Champion Zack Sabre Jr.

Speaking on the Battleground podcast, Joe was asked about a potential match between himself and Sabre Jr to determine who the best Television Champion is.

He responded:

“You know, it might be [a good venue for the match], but Zack, he’s home, right? I mean, does he really want that to happen to him in his backyard?

“Mom can finally make it out for the matches, and I smear you all over the canvas, do you really want to ruin Christmas? That’s all I’m really saying here. It’s going to be awkward coming out of summertime, and you can’t walk right. That’s just me. I mean, if I’m thinking about the family events and how I want to arrange this, and I’m Zack. I’m like, ‘Maybe now is not the best time to really go after Joe.’

“We’ll see. I know I’ll be there, and somebody’s going to have a bad night, but hopefully, it’s not one of the local boys, because we all want to have a pint afterward.”

Joe is set to defend the ROH Television Championship against Dalton Castle at tonight’s ROH Death Before Dishonor pay-per-view.

Joe recently spoke about his recent match with CM Punk, and how he ‘still doesn’t respect’ him.
