Sasha Banks Says ‘Thank You’ To WWE, Vince McMahon & More Ahead Of NJPW Debut

Mercedes Varnado, formerly known as Sasha Banks in WWE, spoke out today to express her gratitude to amongst others, her fans and ‘Sasha Banks’ herself.

Varnado took to Twitter ahead of what is expected to be her debut for New Japan Pro Wrestling at Wrestle Kingdom 17 to say a series of thank yous.

Varnado is not only believed to be currently in Tokyo ahead of the anticipated appearance, it sounds as though she’s brought very valuable backup as well.

According to reports, WWE star Bayley and former WWE star and former co-WWE Women’s Tag Team champion Trinity Fatu (fka Naomi) are also going to be in attendance at tonight’s Wrestle Kingdom 17.

It is expected that the former Sasha Banks may take the ring name Mercedes Mone’ after a series of trademarks were filed by Varnado referencing the moniker.
