Sasha Banks Reacts To ‘Rumors’ Amid WWE Hiatus

Former Women’s Champion Sasha Banks has seemingly teased her WWE return, reacting to ‘rumors’ amid her wrestling hiatus.

Banks and Naomi haven’t appeared on WWE TV since walking out on the May 16 edition of SmackDown. Following the duo’s walkout, the duo were suspended and stripped of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship.

Following Vince McMahon’s retirement and Triple H taking over creative in July, rumors have been swirling about Banks and Naomi’s returns.

It has been a real ‘will they, won’t they’ situation, but speculation for the duo’s return was recently fuelled by photos of Sasha Banks training.

It was also recently reported that Banks is still under contract with WWE, prompting speculation that she’s preparing to make a comeback.

Banks has now taken to social media to stir the pot herself, tweeting,

I hope the rumors are true ☺️💋😱😆🙏🏾

Naomi is reportedly still under contract with WWE, and has recently been in talks with WWE regarding her deal.

Banks and Naomi last wrestled on the May 15 Sunday Stunner house show, with their most recent TV match taking place on the May 13 edition of SmackDown.
