Seth Rollins has issued a warning to UFC Hall of Famer Daniel Cormier ahead of the upcoming Extreme Rules premium live event.
On the show, Rollins will battle Riddle in a Fight Pit match. Daniel Cormier will be the special guest referee for the bout.
In the lead-up to tonight’s premium live event, Cormier took to Twitter to promote his appearance, noting:
“It’s fight day! Tonight @WWERollins and @SuperKingofBros get locked inside the fight pit! Tonight live on @peacock #ExtremeRules2022 gonna be crazy from Philly”
Warning Cormier ahead of the bout, Rollins replied:
“Just don’t get in my way.”
Some have theorised that Cormier’s appearance will set up the MMA legend’s WWE in-ring debut. It has been speculated that Cormier and Brock Lesnar will face off inside a WWE ring, after the duo teased a UFC fight in 2018.
Cormier has addressed these rumors, noting that he hasn’t heard of any plans for him to wrestle The Beast. As of writing, Cormier’s Extreme Rules appearance is set to be a one-off.
