The New Day Debut At AEW All In London 2026

Former WWE stars Austin Creed & Kofi (formerly Xavier Woods & Kofi Kingston of The New Day) have officially arrived in AEW at today’s All In London pay-per-view event.

Ever since coming to terms on their WWE release back in May, fans have been eagerly anticipating the prospect of The New Day landing in All Elite Wrestling.

Reports ahead of All In revealed that the former 10-time WWE Tag Team Champions were AEW bound, and a late report on the day of All In revealed that they had been spotted in London.

If there was any doubt remaining regarding The New Day’s next move in pro wrestling, it was put to rest at the very start of the AEW All In London broadcast, as Austin Creed & Kofi – collectively known as The New Level – officially arrived as the mystery entrants in the Trios Roulette Match for the AEW World Trios Championships.

Teaming with former AEW World Champion Swerve Strickland as the wildcard final entrant in the Trios Roulette, Creed and Kofi marked their first night in All Elite Wrestling in style as they received a massive ovation from the live crowd inside Wembley Stadium.

Once they got involved in the action, Kofi got the chance showcase some of his trademark escape artist skills – often seen in WWE Royal Rumble matches – as Prince Nana saved him from elimination.

That memorable moment was soon topped however, as Kofi, Creed and Strickland collectively survived to win the Trios Roulette and become the brand new AEW World Trios Champions, dethroning teh previous champions ‘Hangman’ Adam Page & Brodido.

As noted on commentary, with their win The New Level became the first stars to win a championship in their very first match in All Elite Wrestling, and fans will be excited to see what awaits them in this next chapter of their storied careers.

The New Level To Boost AEW Tag Team Division In A Major Way That Affects WWE

In the early days of AEW, the tag team division was a major focal point was of the promotion, with memorable moments like Private Party’s upset win against the Young Bucks, Hangman Page & Kenny Omega vs the Young Bucks, and FTR coming into the company.

However, over the past few years, the status of the division overall has somewhat dwindled – really since the collapse of The Acclaimed at their peak in 2023.

There have been a number of signs recently though that AEW could be starting to refocus on elevating the tag team scene, which would give it a distinct advantage over WWE, whose own tag team division hasn’t been in a good state this year.

Major names holding the AEW World Tag Team Title in Adam Copeland and Christian Cage, the Young Bucks ditching their heel EVP characters, FTR potentially returning soon, the arrival of the Motor City Machine Guns, and now the New Level coming in as well.

WWE may not have seen immediate value in keeping New Level, but this move could signify something much bigger – AEW becoming a much more attractive prospect to any and all tag teams than WWE is, and it could come back to bite them.
