With NXT Heatwave 2026 almost here, the Summer ending premium live event could end up being a farewell for some stars.

From former Champions that seem likely to make their next appearance on the main roster to others who still have unfinished business in NXT — there are some top prospects in NXT that seem poised to make a big impact on the main roster.

Here are six potential WWE main roster call-ups after Heatwave 2026.

6. Lola Vice

A compelling addition to the main roster after NXT Heatwave 2026 will indeed be Lola Vice, as her arrival on Monday Night Raw has already been confirmed to be happening on the September 14 show in Mexico City.

Vice hasn’t seen in-ring action since her NXT Underground loss to Kendal Grey for the NXT Women’s Championship, a match that proved to be her farewell on the brand.

Now main roster bound, Lola Vice seems set for big things on Raw heading into the Fall and Winter months.

Able to blend her compelling in-ring style with her MMA background. Vice will be an impressive addition to WWE Raw come September 14.

5. Cruz Montana

Formerly known as Mike Santana in TNA, the NXT run of Cruz Montana has been powerful thus far.

While he is set to face off against Tony D’Angelo, Grayson Waller and the debuting Zilla Fatu for the NXT Championship at NXT Heatwave 2026, he could still be set for a call-up soon.

With Montana already being battle tested across TNA Wrestling, AEW and beyond before making his way to NXT — the main roster might be on the horizon sooner rather than later.

Since there are several intriguing outcomes for this particular match, perhaps a loss at Heatwave could be a catalyst for a swift call-up for Cruz Montana.

4. Tony D’Angelo

Alternatively, another NXT star that has spent a far longer time on the brand is current NXT Champion, Tony D’Angelo.

Already having demonstrated versatility as a character during his time in NXT, there could be some former foes awaiting D’Angelo on the main roster.

Previously having tangled with the likes of Oba Femi, Bron Breakker and Nathan Frazer in big matches in NXT, D’Angelo may already have built-in rivals on both WWE Raw and SmackDown.

With Tony D’Angelo putting his NXT Championship on the line against Grayson Waller, Cruz Montana and Zilla Fatu — if D’Angelo drops the title, a move to the main roster may happen sooner rather than later.

3. Kelani Jordan

Another example of NXT versatility that could seamlessly join the main roster in the near future is Kelani Jordan.

Set to battle it out at WWE Heatwave against rival Kendal Grey, if Kelani Jordan doesn’t capture the NXT Women’s Championship now – perhaps she’s instead main roster bound.

Able to bring her captivating in-ring performance and character to either WWE Raw or SmackDown, Jordan could become a major player in the women’s division for years to come.

Either heel or babyface, Kelani Jordan has all the skills and charisma necessary for main roster success.

2. Jaida Parker

An NXT star that has been anticipated to join the main roster over the past year is Jaida Parker.

Having made an impressive debut in WWE NXT and significant strides since, Jaida Parker continues to be a powerful force in NXT.

Going up against Nattie in a major bout at WWE NXT Heatwave 2026, it could be finally time for Ms. Parker to make a big impact on the main roster.

Taking on the veteran in a submission match, it could be the perfect send-off from NXT to capture a big win over Nattie.

1. Myles Borne

Absolutely able to make the leap to the main roster, Myles Borne could end up proving to be pivotal in an upcoming bout on the main roster.

With Randy Orton set to face off against Cody Rhodes on Sunday Night’s Main Event, it could be that Orton’s young doppelgänger Borne pops up to help secure the victory for Orton.

Bridging together a fun intergenerational storyline by which both veterans Rhodes and Orton could assemble their own squad of up and coming stars, there could be a bigger purpose to the feud.

With each paying forward contributions from the past, a whole new crop of WWE NXT stars could be set to get ‘the rub’ from a pair of top names in Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton.
