The Ring of Honor World 6-Man Tag Team Championships changed hands at the latest set of TV tapings as Cody and the Young Bucks defeated The Kingdom (Matt Taven, Vinny Marseglia, and TK O’Ryan).
This is the second reign with the titles for the Young Bucks as they lost the titles to SoCal Uncensored (Daniels, Kazarian, & Scorpio Sky) back at the ROH 16th Anniversary show with Hangman Page as their partner. This is Cody’s first reign with the titles and his first championship win since losing the ROH World Championship to Dalton Castle at Final Battle last December.
The Kingdom had won the titles from SoCal Uncensored at ROH/NJPW War of the Worlds back in May. They defended the titles against many teams from all over the world before finally losing to Cody and The Young Bucks.
This championship win adds another set of tag team championships to the Young Bucks current collection. The Young Bucks currently hold the IWGP Tag Team Championships as well as the NEVER Openweight 6-Man Tag Team Championships with partner Marty Scurll.
