Well it seems as though at least one top AEW star’s participation in the debut of AEW Collision has squarely been ruled out. Find out who!
After independent promotion Wrestling Revolver announced some very exciting top AEW talent coming to their upcoming show, Wrestling Revolver and the Ring of Destiny, fans took notice of the date.
With Jon Moxley, Roderick Strong and Konosuke Takeshita all announced as participating in the promotion’s event, they are highly unlikely to be appearing on the debut episode of AEW Collision that same night.
The date and location is notable in that Dayton, Ohio, while also in the American mid-west are a hefty drive and flight away from Chicago, Illinois (about four hours and about 2 hours respectively).
So at least those three are likely able to be ruled out for the debut of AEW Collision on Saturday, June 17, 2023 but as ever, the event does note: card subject to change.
Not yet ruled out, rumored front man of the Saturday night show: CM Punk.
While Punk still hasn’t been confirmed for an appearance, he did take time to post a cryptic Instagram story complete with tagging the venue of the event and leaving a Ticketmaster link so… make of that what you will.
Regardless, CM Punk remains on friendly terms with multiple members of the AEW locker room, being spotted hanging out with Brody King after AEW Double or Nothing and a notable good pal of fan favorite, Danhausen.
