WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H has addressed a wrestling legend’s return appearance, following the latest episode of Friday Night SmackDown.
The July 31 show featured the return of a familiar face, with the legendary Haku joining his sons, Tama Tonga and Talla Tonga, in the ring following the duo taking out the War Raiders, Damian Priest and R-Truth.
With Haku having appeared in a vignette earlier in the night, Triple H has now commented on the star’s SmackDown appearance.
Triple H took to Twitter to share the promo video, writing:
If you don’t know, here is your warning… One of the baddest MFs in @WWE history!! HAKU is here!!!!!
Now they are MFT. #SmackDown get ready.
While not confirmed, Triple H’s comments seem to indicate that Haku’s SmackDown appearance was not a one-off, with the WWE CCO warning SmackDown to “get ready”.
Tama and Talla Tonga have been in need of new direction, with the duo finding their footing in WWE following the original iteration of the MFTs ending.
The members of the Bloodline off-shoot group have went their separate ways over the course of the year, with JC Mateo (Jeff Cobb) and Tonga Loa departing during the April/May round of talent cuts, and Solo Sikoa finding himself on Raw feuding with The Usos.
With Haku by their sides, Talla and Tama will likely be presented as forces to be reckoned with in the tag-team division.
Royce Keys recently showed his respect to Haku, naming him as one of the stars he’d include in his dream faction and WarGames team.
