WWE Star’s Expletive Filled Reaction After 2 Minute Loss On SmackDown

A WWE star has given a passionate expletive filled reaction after suffering a loss in two minutes on tonight’s July 31 edition of SmackDown.

SmackDown played host to the final qualifying match for the five-woman ladder match at SummerSlam to determine the Interim WWE Women’s Champion in the absence of injured champion Rhea Ripley.

The qualifier saw Giulia face Lash Legend, with the winner joining the ladder match field made up of Charlotte Flair, Jade Cargill, Tiffany Stratton and Chelsea Green.

It was Legend who defeated Giulia, with the match only lasting two minutes.

This result and the way it played out led to a lot of outrage from fans online, criticizing WWE’s booking of Giulia, who was a big star in Japan and was also on top in NXT.

Since joining the main roster, she’s been a two-time Women’s United States Champion, but she’s never been presented as a top name in the women’s division.

Giulia, responding to the loss and the subsequent support of the fans, has now posted on social media, writing:

To everyone who was rooting for me… I’m sorry this is how it turned out.

But here’s the thing… Don’t f**king worry about me.

I’m stubborn as hell. I don’t f**king quit. I’m tough as nails.

This is what drives me. Bring it all the f**k on.

I’ll get through whatever comes my way. Come at me, all of you.

WWE’s Arrogant Women’s Booking

Giulia’s booking has been a topic of conversation over the past couple of days after a report came out that WWE has been “baffled” by AEW CEO Tony Khan’s booking of Persephone, with WWE reportedly interested in signing her when she’s available.

While the general consensus from most fans is they agree about the point regarding Persephone, they also point to how WWE has dropped the ball itself with names like Giulia, Jordynne Grace and Blake Monroe in recent months.

There have been question marks elsewhere in the women’s division too, namely the fact Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan has gone 100 days without even defending the title, and that the build to her match against IYO SKY at SummerSlam has really been focused on Joe Hendry and Danhausen’s issues with Dominik Mysterio rather than the women themselves.

Anyone who’s watched WWE Unreal or has listened to any Triple H interview knows that the company has a very high opinion of itself, but sometime soon, management are going to have to realize that not everything they do is perfect, and the booking of the women’s division is an area that needs significant improvement – it’s a disservice to both the fans and the talent right now.
