After an attack at the hands of Xia Li on NXT TV last week, the commentary team said that Kacy Catanzaro had suffered a broken leg, but we now know that this is a work.
Speaking on the latest Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted that while Kacy Catanzaro is expected to be taking some time off WWE TV, she has not legitimately suffered a broken leg:
“So Kacy Catanzaro, even though they said she has a broken leg – it’s not like she’s 100%, but she’s fine. So I have no idea why they said she had a broken leg on television.
“Kacy Catanzaro is relatively okay, but I guess she’s gonna be kept out. I don’t know how long they’re gonna keep her out of action because her ‘broken leg’ may heal in three weeks knowing WWE.”

Meltzer noted that Kacy Catanzaro is dealing with an injury right now and is not 100%, but she has not suffered a broken leg, which is certainly good news.
