Top NXT Star Pitches Match Against Seth Rollins For WrestleMania 40

Seth Rollins’ opponent for WrestleMania 40 has potentially been revealed, with a top NXT star targeting the former WWE Champion.

At this year’s Show of Shows, Rollins will go one-on-one with Logan Paul in a match that many fans are highly anticipating.

Rollins may already have an opponent lined up for WrestleMania 40, with Carmelo Hayes stating that Rollins is the star he wants to face at the 2024 event.

When asked about a potential opponent for next year’s show on the Under The Ring podcast, the former NXT North American Champion noted:

“Seth Rollins. I feel like if there’s anybody that I find as similar to me or my style that I would mesh well with in the ring, it’d be Seth Rollins.”

Hayes has a big match lined up for WrestleMania weekend, as he’s set to challenge for Bron Breakker’s NXT Championship at the April 1 NXT Stand & Deliver event.

Many are predicting that Hayes will walk away with NXT’s top prize, following rumors that Breakker will soon be called up to the main roster.
