A wrestling promotion has outdrew WWE in Mexico.
WWE has been riding high with live attendance records for TV, premium live events and even house shows.
Their wave of momentum seems to not have any slow down ahead so far, but it seems like other promotions are finding success as well.
Per Luchablog, AAA has announced that the attendance for their TripleMania 31 event in Mexico City was 15,800. This puts the event slightly ahead of the 15,500 reported for WWE’s recent Mexico City stop.
The event featured Psycho Clown defeating Sam Adonis, RUSH and LA Park in a Mask vs. Hair main event that saw Adonis get pinned and lose his hair in the post match.
Also, El Hijo Del Vikingo defeated Jack Cartwheel, Daga and Speedball Mike Bailey in a four way to retain the AAA Mega Championship.
Meanwhile, Flammer beat Taya Valkyrie to win the AAA Reina de Reinas Championship.
