WWE Announces Injury To Top Star WWE

In an update, WWE has announced an injury to Kevin Owens who was just announced to be involved in a new tournament.

After last night on WWE SmackDown saw Logan Paul announce a new eight-man tournament to determine the next challenger to the United States Championship, WWE has announced an injury to one of the participants.

After a match with Grayson Waller on last night’s WWE SmackDown, there was a digital exclusive featuring Kevin Owens heading to an x-ray after the match to get checked out.

And an in an update, WWE has announced that Kevin Owens did in fact sustain an injury during SmackDown.

Posting to Twitter, the official account wrote:

“UPDATE: @fightowensfight has sustained an injury, fracturing his 4th and 5th metacarpal during #SmackDown last night.”

At this point, it’s unconfirmed if the injury is legitimate or part of a storyline, so we’ll keep you posted with any further updates, but either way it looks like he’s set to be off TV for a few weeks at least.

On last night’s episode of WWE SmackDown, Logan Paul announced that there would be a new eight-man tournament to determine who would face him for a shot at his United States Title.

According to the graphic shown on screen and Paul himself, the field consisted of Kevin Owens, Santos Escobar, Dragon Lee, Karrion Kross, Grayson Waller, Austin Theory, Bobby Lashley and “an NXT Superstar, could be anyone”.
