WWE
A major celebrity name has received a warning from Cody Rhodes ahead of his potential involvement in WWE.
Back in February, NFL star Tom Brady described WWE as “cute” when it came to comparing their respective athleticism during an appearance of Logan Paul’s podcast, Impaulsive.
The comment caused a number of WWE stars to react, including CM Punk and Drew McIntyre, with some hoping that the NFL star would step into the ring.
More recently, Brady got into an altercation with Logan Paul at Fanatics Fest NYC, leading to the injured WWE star commenting on the slap in a social media post.
Cody Rhodes is the latest star to take a shot at Brady, warning the star of what may be to come during an appearance on The Tonight Show, saying:
“Here’s my warning, Tom doesn’t need a warning, he’s a super athlete. But a lot of the celebrities and people who want to cross into wrestling and we do some sort of merging of worlds, I feel like they always get involved in my stuff. Travis Scott, Pat McAfee, they get right involved in what I’m doing.
“If you come in, you can pick other people to mess with, you can. Also not everyone has to wrestle…”

Rhodes would turn his attention to CM Punk ahead of their Undisputed WWE Championship match at SummerSlam, using the star as an example of how a celebrity could get involved in WWE, without going the whole way and competing inside a WWE ring.
“Cookie Monster Punk, Chick Magnet, Chaos Magnet, Constantly Miserable… Whatever – I mean right now he’s the WWE Champion – but I hook his arms, I turn to you (host, Jimmy Fallon), you just give him a nice open chop right on the chest. The place reacts, they clap and that’s all.
“You get the Hall of Fame run after that. Not everyone has to do the full thing, let me do that.”

Brady has previously indicated that he is waiting on the call to make his in-ring WWE debut, going so far as to say, “Come on, Nick (Khan), make it happen.”
The Celebrity Star Doesn’t Have To Wrestle
Looking back at Rob Gronkowski’s run, he would be associated with WWE over the years, occasionally getting physical in the ring, but never having an actual match.
The host of WrestleMania 36 in 2020, he would capture the WWE 24/7 Champion on the second night of the PLE, only to lose it to R-Truth in June.
It’s possible, 24/7 Championship aside, that any involvement by Brady could follow a similar pattern, with the NFL star assisting whoever he is associated, possibly to put Logan Paul and, by extension, The Vision at a disadvantage. It would give Brady a chance to be a physical threat while not requiring him to do a full match.
That said, Logan Paul has shown his skill as a WWE star, and Bad Bunny certainly demonstrated commitment to the craft. Depending on how much he wants to be involved, Brady could feature in a PLE match or two, with other appearances building up to that moment.
Whatever path WWE negotiate with the star, there are no doubt those who are hoping it doesn’t follow the trajectory of Travis Scott, who appeared alongside The Rock at Elimination Chamber and during the main event of WrestleMania 41 Night Two, with that match being between John Cena and Cody Rhodes, only for a “full falling out” between the star and WWE to see any future plans scrapped.
