CM Punk, Drew McIntyre and others have addressed comments from the NFL star Tom Brady that WWE is ‘cute’ compared to football.
On a recent episode of IMPAULSIVE, Logan Paul and Tom Brady got into a heated exchange about the difference between NFL and WWE athletes.
With Brady describing NFL stars as “another level”, Paul would respond by declaring himself “the level”, noting the athleticism he brings to the WWE.
Brady wouldn’t take kindly to Paul’s assertions, retorting that WWE is “cute”, stating:
“No, you’re not the level. You’re a good athlete, but when I’m thinking of Saquon Barkley, Odell Beckham, and Justin Jefferson.
“It’s cute. I love WWE, it’s very cute, but, honestly, this is like real football, this is real competition.”
WWE stars, including CM Punk and Paul Heyman, have now reacted to Brady’s claims during the WWE 2K26 Creator Fest, after Sports Illustrated brought up the subject.
Drew McIntyre would provide a concise and direct answer to the suggestion WWE is ‘cute’, saying:
“I don’t get annoyed. It just comes from a place of ignorance.”
Taking a broader look at Brady’s career, Paul Heyman would share his thoughts, stating:
“What’s Tom Brady done? He’s thrown a football across a field that was caught by Gronkowski.
“Gronskowski deserves the credit. Belichick and his girlfriend deserve the credit. But, Tom Brady?”
Heyman would end his comment with a buzzer sound, that very much indicated that the NFL star was on the wrong side of the conversation.
During this moment, CM Punk would feature, with the WWE World Heavyweight Champion declaring that he is, in fact, the cute one.
Tyler Breeze, who, along with Xavier Woods, has been instrumental in the development of the WWE 2K26 MyGM mode, would also share his thoughts, saying:
“I would love to see Tom Brady step in and see what it actually is and see how cute it actually is. As you know, it’s tough.”
The last words would go to Oba Femi, who laid out a challenge to anyone who shares opinions similar to those of Brady, declaring:
“For those who think it’s cute and it’s fluffy and it’s all sweet and stuff, you can come and try, you can lace up some boots and then let’s watch you puke.”
Heyman has previously responded to the ‘cute’ comments, warning Tom Brady of what he and Logan Paul would do to him in front of a WWE audience.
