Former WWE Faction Reunites Following WrestleMania 40 Championship Win

A former WWE faction took part in a reunion following last night’s WrestleMania 40 night one show and championship victory.

WWE officially separated the Raw and SmackDown Tag Team Championships at WrestleMania 40, with A-Town Down Under taking home the SmackDown Tag Team Championship, and Awesome Truth taking the Raw Tag Team Championship.

Following the show, WWE star Indi Hartwell took to Instagram, where she shared photos backstage of Austin Theory’s photoshoot with his new title.

The shoot featured a reunion of The Way, with Johnny Gargano and Candice LeRae joining Theory, along with Johnny and Candice’s son Quill.

The Way were a part of the NXT brand in 2020 and 2021, with Theory leaving the group upon his call up to the main roster in the 2021 WWE Draft.

Dexter Lumis also joined the group following the Index storyline, which saw he and Indi get married on the first episode of NXT 2.0.
