WWE Hall Of Famer Says CM Punk’s Injury Is An Opportunity To Make Someone At WrestleMania WWE

WWE Hall of Famer Booker T says CM Punk’s injury at Royal Rumble is an opportunity to make someone at WrestleMania 40.

On the January 29 edition of WWE Raw, CM Punk confirmed that he suffered a torn triceps injury during the Men’s Royal Rumble match and will be forced to miss WrestleMania 40.

Fans have been speculating that Punk was scheduled to face Seth Rollins for the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania despite Cody Rhodes winning the Royal Rumble.

Speaking on The Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T discussed CM Punk’s injury with co-host Brad Gilmore and noted that there is now an opening for Seth Rollins’ opponent. He said:

“I’m not looking for anything like that myself. Right now, just coming off the Rumble, you look at the talent pool, you got a plethora of talent right now.”

“There’s so many guys on the roster that can step into that spot and become something and make themselves. To be able to make stars, you gotta put them in a position to become stars.”

“I just think we got an opportunity here, we got a huge opportunity, especially with Punk going down, even though Punk, that’s a great match.”

“Either one of those guys, if Seth wins, it’s great. If Punk wins, it’s great. But Punk is already a made man, and Seth is already a made man. I’m looking to make somebody,”

After Punk’s announcement, Seth Rollins confronted Cody Rhodes about choosing to face him for the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania following his Royal Rumble win.

A WWE star has shared a savage reaction to CM Punk’s injury, which you can read at this link.
