WWE’s Kit Wilson On Potential Tag Team Return Following Elton Prince Injury: ‘You Know We’re Getting Back Together, But It’ll Be A Different Pretty Deadly’ WWE

WWE’s Kit Wilson has addressed potentially returning to the tag team division when Pretty Deadly partner Elton Prince returns from injury.

Back in May, Pretty Deadly’s Elton Prince suffered a neck injury during a match on SmackDown, with him recently undergoing neck fusion surgery which will keep him out of action, with his future in the ring still uncertain.

Following Prince’s injury, Kit Wilson has begun a solo career on SmackDown, with him and his entrance music becoming popular with the fanbase.

Pretty Deadly Returning To WWE?

Speaking to Graps the Podcast, Kit opened up on if he plans to return to the tag team division if Elton returns to the company.

He said:

“We were teaming before we joined the company, it was always us against the world, it didn’t matter to us where we were on this journey because we had each other, that was our bond.

“There’s a big question mark over that now due to the injury and whether he’ll be able to return as a competitor, maybe something else, it’s a question.

“But if he returns you know we’re getting back together and we’re gonna have a big celebration, we’re gonna tell the world. But I think it’d be a different Pretty Deadly. I’ve grown as a singles competitor, and it’s not that I’d be stepping back, because I love everything we did with Pretty Deadly, but everyone evolves.

“I think Elton’s even evolving now. We all grow up, we mature, so I think we’ll see a new Pretty Deadly and probably a Pretty Deadly that’s better than ever.

“I think it’s a new evolution, but also I would love to see Elton grow himself as a competitor, which we will see if he returns, in singles competition as well, we’ll always support each other.

“It’s just, if we went into the singles world, I’d happily manage him and he’d happily manage me.”

Kit Wilson To Compete At WWE WrestleMania 42?

With Kit Wilson currently not set to compete at WrestleMania 42, he has spoken about what he would want to do on the show.

Kit noted that he wants himself and The Miz to get a rematch with Damian Priest and R-Truth for the WWE Tag Team Championship at the show.

He said:

“There’s two more big SmackDown’s left before WrestleMania, anything can happen. If I could choose right now, I feel like if I could choose right now, I felt like we deserved the win on Friday, we deserved the win, so I’d like R-Truth and Damian Priest. I wouldn’t mind catching some Tag Team Championships at WrestleMania, that’d be fantastic.

“Also, it’s a two nighter so on the second night; The Miz and Kit Wilson taking on Danhausen and Danhausen alone. This man has been talking all this, doing all this, I want to see this guy in the ring. I like him, he’s entertaining, but don’t interrupt me, don’t mess with my business, so I think me and The Miz need to handle some business and expose a Danhausen.”
