WWE US Champion Trick Williams has named his dream opponents, commenting on the possibility of being part of a Hall of Famer’s final match.
Trick Williams has been on the WWE main roster for five months, having joined the SmackDown brand in January.
Speaking with Travis Singleton/SneakerReporter, Trick Williams named the three stars he considers dream opponents.
Stating that he’d be interested in matches against GUNTHER, Roman Reigns and Hall of Famer Booker T, Williams said:
“There’s three of them that I want. First, I’m going to go with GUNTHER, because I feel like he’s the best heel in the game today. GUNTHER’s special, man. I love the way he works, I love the way he moves. The General, I just think he’s dope.
“Booker T, of course. The honor it would be to be his, maybe, possibly, his last match. I just think that would be amazing. I would love to work against Booker T, it’d be great.
“Thirdly, the Tribal Chief, the real one, Roman Reigns. I believe he’s the most overall complete superstar in the game today. That’s where I want to be, I want to be the best in the game, so I need to go against the best. That’s the match that I want.”

With GUNTHER and Roman Reigns both being active WWE stars, these potential match-ups seem like inevitabilities.
Williams vs GUNTHER could theoretically happen any given week, given the fact that both stars are on SmackDown, however it would be more fulfilling to see this bout given a proper build, given both stars’ status and popularity.
Booker T last wrestled in the Street Justice Rules Gauntlet match in his Reality of Wrestling promotion in January 2025.
His most recent in-ring outing in WWE saw him make a surprise appearance in the 2023 Royal Rumble match, before being eliminated by GUNTHER less than a minute after his entrance.
While Booker T previously stated that this would be the last time fans would see him put boots on, his return at ROW Battle To The Bell indicates that he’s willing to step back into the ring if the right opportunity arises.
Booker T helped to get Trick Williams’ entrance over with his ad-libs on commentary in NXT, so if there’s anyone on the roster who it would make sense to see Booker T help out one last time, it’s the current WWE US Champion.
Elsewhere in the interview, Trick Williams explained how his and Lil Yachty’s alliance came to be.
