A former WWE name was spotted backstage at the AEW Collision taping.
Despite WWE SummerSlam running head-to-head, AEW Collision took place on Saturday night, August 5 from Greenville, North Carolina.
There were several notable names either seen on camera or backstage during the taping with the likes of former IMPACT Wrestling star Ziggy Dice and wrestling legend Dennis Condrey. However, another name with experience working for WWE was also spotted backstage as well.
Per PWInsider, former WWE NXT Performance Center coach Cathy Corino, also known as Allison Danger, was backstage at AEW Collision in Greenville.
Corino is an ROH original who took part in the first-ever Ring of Honor segment in February 2002 at Era of Honor Begins. She was also extremely influential in the growth of SHIMMER Women’s Wrestling.
Corino served as a WWE NXT Performance Center coach in 2021 before being released just a few short months later in 2022.
Many fans believe the former Allison Danger would be a welcomed addition backstage for All Elite Wrestling and be very helpful in improving the AEW women’s division.
WrestleTalk will provide further updates on Cathy Corino in AEW when and if they become available.
