‘Dirty’ Dominik Mysterio retained the NXT North American Championship at Great American Bash and was praised by Shawn Michaels backstage.
For most WWE stars, this would be a moment for a handshake and a hug, but not for Mysterio and his Judgment Day partner, Rhea Ripley.
Instead of embracing the moment, ‘Dirty’ Dom blanked the WWE Hall of Famer whilst Ripley would sassily push him out of the way.
The footage from the incident can be seen below this news story, with Michaels shouting after the pair:
“Your daddy should have spanked your ass as a kid.”
Rhea Ripley has since reacted to the video posted on WWE’s social media with a message of her own to Michaels.
In a follow-up tweet, the WWE Women’s World Champion said:
“Move @ShawnMichaels… WE run NXT now! ⚖️”
