WWE Tag Team Partners Potentially Splitting Up

WWE Tag Team Partners Potentially Splitting Up WWE

It seemed as though potential tensions were brewing within a WWE faction on tonight’s episode of NXT with a possible break-up on the way

In a backstage segment on tonight’s February 20 episode, Thea Hail had revealed to fellow Chase U members Jacy Jayne and Jazmyn Nyx that her Valentine’s Day date with Riley Osborne had not yielded a call back.

However after Arianna Grace joined the conversation to offer a harsh critique, it led to a match between Grace and Jayne.

In the closing moments of the match, Jayne wanted her Chase U comrade Thea Hail to cheat to help her win, but Hail refused.

However, Jazmyn Nyx had no problem helping out and stepped in with the assist to help Jacy Jayne capture the victory over Arianna Grace.

After the match, there was an awkward moment where Jayne clearly snubbed Thea Hail and instead celebrated with only Jazmyn Nyx after the match.

With the following match set to feature Chase U (Andre Chase and Duke Hudson) taking on Axiom and Nathan Frazer, there was a quick crossover on the entrance ramp.

While Andre Chase seemed to wonder what Jayne was up to, she blew off his concerns as there was also a lingering moment of sheer awkwardness between Hail and Osborne.

Chase and Hudson did end up winning that match, so they’re the #1 contenders for Bron Breakker and Baron Corbin’s NXT Tag Team Championship – however, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson appeared and attacked Chase, Hudson, Osborne, Axiom and Frazer after the match.

Soon after that, Hail was shown in the locker room feeling down about earlier, but Fallon Henley consoled her, seemingly teasing a Hail and Henley partnership if Hail does split away from Jayne and Nyx.
