On the January 29 episode of WWE Raw, Johnny Gargano & Tommaso Ciampa faced Damian Priest & Finn Balor for the Tag Team Championships.
As can be seen from the video highlights below this news story, it didn’t go #DIY’s way with the Judgment Day members continuing their reign as Undisputed Tag Team Champions.
Gargano and Ciampa had set their sights high for the match, promising that they would show the world who they are.
Despite having the upper hand at various points throughout the match, #DIY were unable to dethrone the champions.
Gargano has reacted to the loss on social media, tweeting:
“Win, lose or draw.. we will always give you everything we got.
“It just wasn’t our night.. but we’ve been down this road before.”
There was plenty of positivity towards Gargano on social media, with fans pointing out how good the match was.
It received a “this is awesome” from the fans in attendance at the Amalie Arena in Tampa Bay, Florida.
Last night’s WWE Raw opened with CM Punk revealing that his injury will mean he’s going to miss WrestleMania 40 in April.
