A former champion appears to have commented on his WWE booking, stating that he’s someone who ‘never wins’.
With there being a number of exciting returns in recent weeks, one star whose return shocked fans was Kairi Sane, who made a surprise appearance in the closing moments of the WWE Women’s Title bout at Crown Jewel 2023.
While Kairi has since wrestled three matches, she has yet to pick up a win since returning, with her six-woman tag match ending in a no contest on the November 10 SmackDown episode, Damage CTRL losing in WarGames at Survivor Series, and Bianca Belair pinning Kairi on the December 1 show.
Kairi’s losing streak has led some fans to question WWE’s booking of the returning star.
WWE star Ricochet has now chimed in, replying to a Twitter user who was reassuring fans that Kairi Sane hasn’t been ruined.
Optimistic about Kairi’s future, as well as his own, Ricochet wrote:
Take it from someone who never wins.
She’ll be fine.
Ricochet hasn’t won a televised match since picking up a DQ victory over Shinsuke Nakamura on Raw in September.
The last time Ricochet actually pinned someone to score a clean victory on WWE TV was on the August 24 edition of WWE Main Event.
Ricochet hasn’t scored a clean victory on his home WWE Raw brand since defeating Shinsuke Nakamura on the June 26 show.
The popular high-flyer recently returned to the ring at the December 2 WWE house show after reportedly being placed on concussion protocol following his bout on the November 6 episode of Raw.
