A returning WWE star believes that “many more” people should be representing the company brand with pride.
Sheamus made his in-ring return on Monday’s (April 15) edition of Raw, defeating Ivar in his first match in eight months.
The Celtic Warrior has now taken to Twitter to thank the combat sports brand Venum for creating the custom WWE-branded wrestling gear he wore in his first match back.
Believing that more people should show their pride for company, Sheamus said:
Thank you @venum for the 1st ever custom WWE branded ring gear…
i wear the WWE brand with pride, many more should too.. #representyourteam
Sheamus’ post has led to speculation about the company potentially forming a relationship with Venum, which creates gear for boxing and MMA.
Venum has a partnership with the UFC, which was merged with WWE to form TKO Group under Endeavor in September 2023.
There has been some brief crossover between the two brands since the merger, with WWE stars often shown at UFC events, and UFC’s Michael Chandler calling out Conor McGregor on the February 19 edition of Raw.
Conor McGregor previously addressed the possibility of him joining WWE in the future, which you can read more about right here.
