Rhea Ripley Seemingly Reacts To Being Pulled From WWE SummerSlam 2023 WWE

Rhea Ripley has seemingly reacted to being pulled from the card for the August 5 WWE SummerSlam 2023 event.

WWE has promoted Ripley as streaming on TikTok for a look at her “SummerSlam glam” routine with makeup artist Laura Lomonaco.

However, Ripley’s response to that tweet seems to have taken a dig at the fact that she’s not actually on SummerSlam itself and currently is only doing media appearances to promote the event.

Ripley tweeted:

“*SummerSlam media appearance look* for reasons we all know of.”

Ripley was originally planned for a match against Raquel Rodriguez at SummerSlam, but it looks like it’s been postponed along with Becky Lynch vs Trish Stratus due to time constraints.

WWE did leave it open that Ripley vs Rodriguez could be added at the last minute if Rodriguez is cleared from injury (in storyline) in time, but at the minute, it hasn’t been added.

As we covered yesterday, Ripley had already liked a couple of tweets suggesting she agreed with fans who aren’t happy about WWE pulling two women’s matches from SummerSlam.

Becky Lynch has also seemed to make her feelings clear, which you can read about at this link.

Regarding her “SummerSlam glam” promotion, speaking to InStyle about her unique look and how she’s inspired others, Rhea Ripley said:

“I’ll get messages on Instagram, Twitter. I’ll get people coming up to me in person just being like, ‘Rhea, I love your style. You helped me accept me for me,'”

“It sort of brought out this side of me that I always wanted to be, but never thought that I would fit the mold of society,”

“It’s cool to be in that sort of spotlight, to inspire them to do what they want to do with their bodies and to not be ashamed of it and not really care what anyone else thinks because it’s what they think of themselves that really means the most.”
