A new report may have revealed the location of next year’s Royal Rumble 2024 event ahead of any official announcement from WWE.
The information comes from PWInsider Elite (via WrestleWorld) who reveal that the two potential locations of Royal Rumble 2024 come in the Florida area.
Firstly, there’s been “a lot of speculation” about it taking place in Orlando, but another potential destination is said to be Tropicana Field in St Petersburg.
Tropicana Field is currently the home of Major League Baseball outfit the Tampa Bay Rays and holds a capacity of over 42,000, although that may be different for a WWE setup.
During the pandemic, the WWE ThunderDome was situated at Tropicana Field from December 2020 to April 2021, so the 2021 Royal Rumble actually took place there with no fans in attendance.
It was reported a few months ago by the Orlando Business Journal that the Greater Orlando Sports Commission was looking to place a bid to host the 2024 Rumble – click here for more details on that.
