Randy Orton cut an in-ring promo to explain why he turned heel and attacked Jeff Hardy. Orton blamed the fans, saying he’s been around the longest in WWE but gets no respect. He said he started his career as a Legend Killer but the fans are the true legend killers, and he’s making it his mission to destroy every superstar they put on a pedestal. Orton then vowed to end Jeff’s career. Strong promo from The Viper. The fans cheered him at the end though, which I’m not sure was the desired response.
Andrade ‘Cien’ Almas (with Zelina Vega) pinned Babyface Rusev (with Lana) after the hammerlock DDT. Rusev was distracted by an incident outside the ring. Lana and Zelina Vega started fighting, and Aiden English ran out to separate them, then Lana was accidentally knocked out. Afterwards, Lana and English argued backstage. Rusev told them to stop and said “maybe none of you is good for Rusev Day!” I think he meant ‘neither of you’.
