WWE Star ‘Conflicted’ Over WrestleMania 40 Match

A WWE star has noted in a backstage interview that they felt ‘conflicted’ over how their WrestleMania 40 match went tonight (April 6).

Jey Uso has broken his silence after beating his twin brother Jimmy Uso in a match tonight at WrestleMania 40 night one.

Sharing a moment after the victory, Jey Uso shared his conflicted emotions about the win, noting that he still loves his twin brother.

Saying that he felt there was still good in Jimmy, he “kinda felt it out there,” with his “twin telepathy” going off to indicate that Jimmy wasn’t all bad.

Believing that Jimmy was genuinely apologetic in the ring, he recognized why he would use that as a ploy and noted that Jimmy was just trying to do whatever it took to get the win.

However, he does still love his twin brother as they are, of course, family.

While Jey Uso may have bested Jimmy Uso at WrestleMania 40 tonight (April 6), elsewhere the Bloodline won a pivotal match.

Winning what was billed as the ‘biggest tag team match in WrestleMania history’ The Rock and Roman Reigns beat Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes in the main event of night one.

Elsewhere on night one, Rhea Ripley retained her WWE Women’s World Championship against Becky Lynch, however fellow Judgment Day members Finn Balor and Damian Priest are leaving empty handed.

The team of Austin Theory and Grayson Waller (A-Town Down Under) captured the SmackDown tag team titles during the six-pack ladder match tonight whereas the WWE Raw tag team titles were won by an old foe of the former champs.

R-Truth and The Miz won the WWE Raw Tag Team Championships for the first time, with the occasion also marking R-Truth’s first ever win at WrestleMania.

There was a third title change when Sami Zayn beat GUNTHER to end his historic WWE Intercontinental Championship reign.

Also Jade Cargill, Bianca Belair and Naomi beat Auska, Kairi Sane and Dakota Kai in a six-woman tag match.
