WWE Star Returns After Six Months Away

WWE Star Returns After Six Months Away WWE

A WWE star has returned to action for effectively the first time in six months tonight after being absent since April.

UPDATE: This match wasn’t actually taped for Level Up – it was a dark match that won’t air, but did leak online.

Before tonight’s October 31 NXT Halloween Havoc Night 2 show went on air on USA Network, as usual, a couple of matches were taped for upcoming episodes of NXT Level Up.

One of those matches saw an absentee return in the form of Oba Femi.

The last time we saw Femi was his NXT TV debut back at Spring Breakin’ on April 25, where he picked up a win over Oro Mensah after a big buildup to his debut.

After that, Femi worked an untelevised house show on May 12 where he beat Myles Borne, but had been absent since then – there hasn’t been any word on why he’d been out of action.

He actually returned to the ring three nights ago in the Halloween battle royal at another untelevised house show, but was in action against Brooks Jensen tonight in the Level Up match, which will be the first time we’ve seen him on-screen since the aforementioned Spring Breakin’ match whenever it airs.

The other match taped for Level Up tonight was Ivy Nile, who debuted on Raw last night with the Creed Brothers, against Jaida Parker.

We’ll keep you posted with any news throughout Hallowen Havoc Night 2 tonight, which includes Ilja Dragunov defending the NXT Championship against Carmelo Hayes.
