WWE Star Pays Tribute To Late IMPACT Wrestling Star Daffney IMPACT Wrestling

WWE’s Tatum Paxley has revealed she drew inspiration from late IMPACT Wrestling star Daffney for some ring gear she wore recently.

On Twitter, a fan noted that Paxley’s attire from an NXT live event this past weekend reminded them “so much of Daffney” that it brought out a response from the WWE star, who replied:

“She was the inspo❤️”

Indie wrestler Jamie Senegal, who Daffney took under her win as her ‘daughter’, replied that Daffney would love the tribute.

Shannon Spruill, known to IMPACT Wrestling fans as Daffney, passed away in September 2021.

Her legacy in wrestling covered WCW and TNA/IMPACT Wrestling with her retirement taking place in 2011.

Although she was retired, she would be a hostess in Shine Wrestling in July 2012 before taking on the role of manager.

Paxley signed with WWE in 2021 and made her NXT Level Up debut in February 2022 before teaming up with Ivy Nile in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic that year.

The team of Nile and Paxley would come to an end in March 2023, with Paxley abandoning her partner during a three-way tag team match.

Paxley has continued to be a presence on NXT and NXT Level Up, recently teaming with Izzi Dame.
