WWE star The Miz says he’s “reviewing every legal option” available to him following Danhausen’s recent ‘home invasion.’
If getting punched in the groin at WrestleMania 42 wasn’t bad enough, The Miz this week saw his WWE rival Danhausen invite himself into he and his wife Maryse’s home, use their pool and golf simulator, as well as steal both a Slammy Award and a bicycle that belonged to their daughter.
With The Miz’s attempt at revenge inside the ring resulting in him getting pinned by Danhausen on Friday’s SmackDown (April 24), the two-time WWE Grand Slam Champion is now pursuing legal action against the “Very Nice, Very Evil” star.
Taking to Twitter, The Miz shared footage of Danhausen “unlawfully entering” his home, along with the statement:
Danhausen unlawfully entered our home.
He used our pool, trespassed on private property, and treated my golf simulator like it was public access. Most concerning, he caused significant damage to my wife’s hair, which, to this day, is still being treated.
We have formally retained the best attorneys in the country and have begun reviewing every available legal option. Our legal team is actively preparing the appropriate response and pursuing this matter accordingly.
This is no longer a joke. This not a curse. Danhausen is a criminal. He is liable.
Danhausen is currently 2-0 in WWE since arriving in the company back at February’s Elimination Chamber 2026 premium live event, with his first win coming at the expense of The Miz’s protégé Kit Wilson on the April 10 SmackDown.
Danhausen & WWE: A Match Made In Heaven
The tepid reaction to Danhausen upon his surprise debut at Elimination Chamber saw many worried that the WWE audience wouldn’t ‘get’ his character.
While he had built a loyal fanbase on the independent scene, as well as in AEW, he hadn’t been seen consistently on TV in over two years before he arrived in WWE. So, it’s perhaps understandable that fans expecting a bigger name to emerge from the mystery crate would have been left disappointed.
Despite the rough start however, Danhausen has quickly become one of WWE’s most popular stars, providing consistent social media gold for the company and rakes of merchandise sales based on recent reports.
While R-Truth has always been reliable to provide some laughs, he has had to do the heavy lifting on the comedy front for WWE for quite some time.
There will always be detractors who could do without comedy in pro wrestling, but for the majority of fans, Danhausen has been a breath of fresh air and already proving to be one of the company’s most successful acquisitions in some time.
Seeing the former indie darling share a ring with John Cena at WrestleMania 42 was surreal, and a satisfying payoff to Danhausen’s hard work and commitment to his character over the years.
